How it works
You and your
partner(s) ride a flagged cross country
course on the most beautiful land this side
of the Ocala National Forest. You may watch
eagles & hawks soar, deer seek cover, wild
boar rustling through the underbrush and
maybe even find yourself on the trail of the
ever elusive fox!
Contrary to what you may have heard, the
hunter pace is NOT a race!
The teams arriving closest to the ideal
hunter pace time (a secretly kept time) are
the winners.
Details
- Riders &
drivers of all ages are welcome to
participate
- Teams of at
least 2 riders / drivers are required.
- Singles are
welcome! We'll team you up with a
partner
- Pre-Registration
fee is $25. per rider *
- Late
registration fee: $30. per rider *
- Start: First
riders out by 8AM
- Last rider out
by 11AM
- Starting times
assigned on the day of the event. Check
in at the registration desk.
- Plenty of
parking and water is available
- Concession stand
by the South Creek Foxhounds Pony Club
